오늘은 교실이 아니라 다이엔 선생님 댁이었습니다. 수업도, 워크시트도 없었습니다. 대신 피자와 핫도그, 마당의 텐트, 비눗방울, 분필, 선생님네 새와 토끼 — 그리고 여름 내내 함께한 아이들에게 수료증이 있었습니다.

🍕 Let's Party 거실

거실에는 “LET’S PARTY” 가랜드가 걸려 있었고, 테이블 위에는 피자 상자가 층층이 쌓여 있었습니다. 핫도그, 삶은 옥수수, 만두까지 — 접시를 들고 소파든 러그든 자리 잡는 대로 앉아 먹었습니다.

🐦 새와 토끼 선생님네 식구들

선생님 댁에는 새장 가득한 잉꼬와 토끼가 있습니다. 아이들은 순서를 정해 손등에 새를 올려보고, 토끼를 안아봤습니다. 손을 어떻게 모아야 하는지 배우는 데 한참이 걸렸습니다.

“Sky”라는 이름의 새 한 마리를 찾는 포스터도 아이들이 직접 만들었습니다. 마커로 크게 쓰고, 테이프로 동네 나무에 붙이고 다녔습니다.

🫧 Backyard 텐트 · 비눗방울 · 분필

마당에는 초록색 팝업 텐트가 펼쳐졌고, 그 안에 다 같이 들어가 앉았습니다. 밖에서는 비눗방울, 인도에서는 분필, 그리고 스케이트보드와 킥보드.

🎓 Certificates 수료증

그리고 오늘, 아이들은 수료증을 받았습니다. “For Academic Excellence and Participation in the JC Afterschool English and Academic JC Summer Camp 2026” — 원장 선생님과 다이엔 선생님 두 분의 서명이 들어간, 각자의 이름이 적힌 종이 한 장입니다.
