Presentation Day 🌟

The day we've all been working toward — presentation day! Two weeks of research, posters, and practice, and today the kids finally stepped up to the front of the class. But these weren't just presentations: each presenter took on the full teacher role — pointer in hand, teaching their topic, handing out worksheets, giving instructions, and even marking their students' work. 😍

🐭 Teacher Leah Cute Mice

Leah was our teacher today, teaching the class about “cute mice” — famous mouse friends, the Mouse Family, and all the different kinds of mice. She handed out her “Parts of a Mouse” worksheets, gave instructions, and marked her students' work. Her verdict on the whole experience? “I would rather be a teacher than a student.” 😍

🐰 Teacher SueAh Bunnies

SueAh delivered an exceptionally confident performance in the teacher role, presenting to the class about “Bunnies” — with two plush teaching assistants on standby. She handed out “Label the Bunny” and “Rabbit Facts” worksheets, gave instructions, and marked them too. Very well done! 😍

🐱 Teacher Loha First to the Front

Loha was a confident, diligent, and thorough teacher. She courageously went first, and took the time and heart to make sure everyone was engaged with her presentation. She checked every student's worksheet, gave them a chance to make corrections and boost their marks, then collected everyone's final work — cherishing all of it, and the whole experience of being the teacher, most responsibly. 😍

🎀 Junior Teacher Chloe All the Types of Gyaru

“Junior Teacher” Chloe did a wonderful job interacting verbally and visually with her students during her presentation on the history and substyles of gyaru — the Japanese fashion trend she researched last week. Then came the hands-on project: cutting out real paper dolls in her favourite pink “girly, girl” hime substyle. Fun and informative — everyone loved it. 😍

🍱 Lunch Break Teachers Need Fuel Too

Between classes: a home-cooked Korean lunch — rice, crispy donkatsu, roasted seaweed, and kimchi. 🍚

☀️ Afternoon at the Park Sunshine Break

With gorgeous summer weather, the afternoon called for fresh air — climbing the rope course, and a little treasure-digging under a giant cedar. 🌲

💬 Quote of the day — Teacher Leah
“I would rather be a teacher than a student.” 😍 — after a full day of teaching, handing out worksheets, and marking her students' work.

From blank poster boards two weeks ago to running their own classrooms today — we couldn't be prouder of our junior teachers. Week 3, off to a wonderful start! 🌟
