Presentation Day 2 🌟

Day two of our junior teachers taking over the classroom! Today two more presenters stepped up to the front — pointer in hand, worksheets ready, stars at the standby — and taught the whole class. First up: birds. Then, the class favourite everyone had been waiting for — a full-blown Bubble Tea lesson. 😍

🫐 First, a Snack Fresh Blueberries

We kicked off the day with a bowl of fresh, juicy blueberries — the perfect brain fuel for a big day of teaching and learning. 💙

🐦 Teacher Sua All About Birds

Sua was our first practice teacher today, and she taught everyone about birds 🦜 — parrots, budgies, peacocks, lovebirds, cockatiels, and more, right down to what pet birds eat and need. She embraced the teacher role thoroughly and enthusiastically, and really shone with a whole new confidence. Cheerful and excited, she instructed her students clearly, handed out her worksheets, and marked their work diligently. To finish, she invited each student up to point to the things they liked best on her beautiful poster. Great job, Junior Teacher Sua! 💖

🧋 Teachers Jua & Loha Bubble Tea

The second presentation was delivered by Jua and Loha — and it was, hands down, the crowd favourite, on the very loved and interesting topic of Bubble Tea. 💖 They walked their students through a whole bundle of vibrant, varied worksheets — a bubble tea menu, facts about its history and origin, some bubble tea math, and bubble tea vocabulary — giving each student time to enjoy every page. They encouraged everyone to persevere and earn their well-deserved stars ⭐. Both were wonderful teachers, so diligent in researching their topic and knowing it well enough to teach it in a fun, interesting way. 😍

🍿 Afternoon Snack Fresh Popcorn

All that teaching works up an appetite! In the afternoon we gathered around for a batch of hot, fresh popcorn — straight from the popper. 🍿

☀️ Free Time Sunshine & Water Play

With more beautiful summer weather, we made the most of it — a little floor time with a furry friend, then off to the splash park to cool down under the sprayers. 💦
